Iam a 57 year old divorced woman, and as i see it, the younger set seems to have the magic formula, to finding that special somebody.I sure would like to know what that secret formula is, and i bet a lot of us Oldies but Goodies would agree.What's the secret? I'm 47. After 17 years of being with the same woman, I have settled into my way & it seems to be more difficult to bend outside that grove I have made. I don't want to be retrained.

As I have noticed...younger women are much more approachable, affable and just overall friendlier. They have more energy it seems to put towards making something happen. Life and people will afford you every opportunity to become hardened and even bitter and sad to say...older women don't release resentment too well and that makes a person old

the percentage of singles in the 30 to 40, 40 to 50 age groups are higher than 50 to 60,,we all thrive for that sensation ( I would hope )of someone special in our lives. Nice area,,Seattle

Perhaps you should change your preference on your profile from women 30-60 to a younger age bracket

I went from being a totally devoted one woman man to developing commitment-phobia. admittedly it took several years to adjust and accept the change.
however I do hold hope that when the time comes to have a loving/sincere/honest woman to "kick start" my rocking chair, I'll do OK.
Theres always hope... We all have a greater chance in finding a true love in our later years than recouping our losses from our retirement investments.
I am beginning to think that because of the long term financial crisis more relationships will start developing with the older set.
only silver lining I currently see.
