Nope..I don't do the revenge thing...sure I have thought about it...BUT then I think we all have...I can't be bothered with revenge...I am like SA and leave it to karma...which can do a much better job at revenge than I ever could....

You did the right thing, why should you be harassed by these very persistent people when as you say, it was not your bill. In my opinion this was Not revenge.

I think (I'm not saying you have) at one time or another we have thought of revenge or getting even. I certainly have.
There is alot to talk about if we are all honest.
The sayings go that "revenge is sweet" "getting even is the way to go" "an eye for an eye"
How do you feel about getting revenge or getting even with those that hurt you.
You've been a little rebel? Revenge,,to much effort,,energy spent on it,,I wouldnt go out of my way to seek revenge,,but thats not to say if an opportunity was placed in front of me,,it would'nt be tempting

druidess6308: Ah, that I've done, Hope. It's called defending oneself. There's a difference.
Example:
Someone breaks into my house and robs me. I saw them, and know what they look like. The police can't catch them, they left no evidence. A few months later I see the person, and someone is able to identify them.
Revenge would be if I found out where they lived and went and robbed them.
Justice is I turn them in to the police, who investigate and I sue them.
Big difference in how it's handled.
Oh, defense is holding the burgler there with my gun and dogs until the police arrive, btw.
Not quite sure this is revenge as it is classified "just desserts"
Long story short-an ex stalked me for 4 years, showing up at my work, driving by my apartment etc. Too afraid to actually do anything about it, but then one night he cut a huge heart into the seat of my truck It was an old truck, but the seat was in perfect condition. That's when I knew his obsession was progressing.
Well one night, I was on the porch-enjoying the evening, when I noticed him circling around my block with a woman in the passenger's side. I had lived in the "red zone" district at the time, and the police started to follow him. For whatever reason, I had parked my truck on the side of the road and not in the driveway, and when he saw the police, he dumped the car and the woman in my parking space and fled on foot.
The police asked me about him, and I told them as much as I knew at that point. Then looking at the car, I told the police officer the story of him not leaving me alone for so long and asked him if there was anything they could do about the car.
They were happy to help--had it towed and impounded. That was the end of his obsession and the last time I saw him.

Just desserts.
Wow that was a long time of having to put up with a stalker. I am glad he finally went away.

Seeking revenge isn't really wroth it at all. i just think that why should I stoop to the other persons level. That's why I would rather forgive the wrong doing then seek revenge on someone. Sometimes the best revenge is not revenege at all.I'd rather let karma handle casue sooner or later it will come back to them anyway.I don't like holding grudges and would rather write them off as a bad debt and move on.
