After the release of the Warren Commission Report, I remember hearing that there was a time capsule that would reveal the person or people who killed President Kennedy.

The capsule will be opened in the year 2012 because the people that were involved in his death will be dead by then.

Would you be open to discussion if there is a time capsule and whose name(s) do you think will be in it

Not really we know who killed him IMO but everytime anything happens people think it is a big conspiricy. It is just hard for the people to think that a lone gunman and not a really bright one at that did this awful thing ,it is always the same ,JMO

I myself believe he was killed by persons/agency unknown. I also believe that he was not the people's hero he is so often painted to be. He was a screwed up veteran of the second world war and he conned a whole generation of young people with his speeches. His effect was not limited to the US, we here in Aus were brought up on the myths surrounding this man. He was directly responsible for the vietnam war and the participartion of all of us who volunteered to go there. I believe that anyone who sees the film of his shooting, and the way his head flew back, could not possibly believe that he was shot from behind. therefore, it could not have been as we have been told for all these years.

No one is saying whether they think there is a time capsule. Is it too farfetched an idea? If there is a time capsule, where do you think it would be?

We all have our opinions on who killed him and if it is ever revealed that Oswald wasn't the sole murderer, we probably will still believe in our own opinions.

I agree with you on your thoughts about the bullet that traveled up and down his body.

well not to get into a big debate over this as it has been debated by much smarter ones than me .but bullets DO travel up and down in a body ,as in M16 rifle are known to do this, this is only one example of course

Except that was a Mannlicher-Carcano,complete different Bullet.
the 5.59mm Bullet is designed to tumble, since it doesn't have the kind of Force a larger Caliber Projectile does.

This link contains a comparison between the NATO 7.62mm and the NATO 5.56mm,quite a difference in power.

Some stuff on the Mannlicher-Carcano Oswald used.

There's nothing wrong with getting into a debate Jesse. You seem to have alot of knowledge about the M16. There might be others that would like to hear how this can happen. I've seen diagrams on how they think the bullet traveled but the media will do anything to make you believe their theory.

I hardly doubt that Oswald was a one man army that killed Kennedy. There are many behind the scene reasons why people, countries, organizations wanted him dead.

He got shot. He died. It was very sad. I'm sure there were some happy that it happened but whether they were involved or not....it is a long time ago now.

I waved a flag at Kennedy in Dublin in 1963. I remember him driving in his motorcade through town.

I think his speeches were very stirring and memorable - they seem so long ago now because of their inherent optimism.

That's probably why he stirred us the way he did.

For sure he was killed by either the government, an agency, armsdealers or a collaboration of all three. I do not think we will ever know even with a time capsule. The recriminations of the people involved would effect their families' lives for ever and even endanger them.
