silly sayings that irritate me...how 'bout you?... (96)
jlw45: i'm checking my mail today and, while checking the mail box, my nieghbor asks..."is it cold enough for ya?"....and my response was... why, can you make it colder?" ...
another one that gets me is, when it's raining really hard...someone always has to say..."man!, it's really comming down".....is'nt that the direction it's supposed to go?.... i used to work with a guy from california and at the end of the day, everyone here says..."well, i'm going to the house"...the guy from california always had a funny look on his face when people would say that....he thaught everybody was going to the same house...
so, i'm just curious... what irritating sayings are "in your neck of the woods"?
