For those of us that have stressful lives but are still hitting the dating world, it just makes the dates themselves stressful. I'm a student so my date budget is like $50 a week... or more if I skip meals. Heh. So my question to the Connecting Singles Community is:

What are some 'economically smart' dates that relieve stress?

Though it may not suit everyone's interest, a leisurely stroll through a museum might be a good one. If there is a particularly good art museum nearby, you could not only take in some stress-relieving beauty, but you could talk about what you are viewing and get to know each other's interests at the same time. Follow that with a coffee somewhere and I think you might have a very nice date.
Good luck!

I was going to suggest that! It's also romantic. Also, I see that you have a motorcycle - a ride is a great thing to do!

Take her somewhere neat on the bike. Also, just sit at home burning scented candles and playing records, or black and white movies with champers and pop corn.

I have a son in Denver... how about sitting on the edge of a golf course and watch the geese mess up their golf shots? laugh Go for a ride up to Everton, walk or rather mosey around all the bicycle trails. As suggested above there's the new museum of modern art with a great view of Denver on top.....

Hey you know as well as we do, that if you're with someone you are interested in, it doesn't matter what you do or where you go....it's all good.

That is relaxing...I like this idea best so far. Not to say I dont appreciate the suggestions about my bike from the ladies (I've thought of that one already :P).

I went to a comedy club on my last date. We laughed for two hours straight during the show.

"Depending on the season,take her on a picnic;
there's nothing more romantic than sharing a
a meal,followed by some good wine,and conversation
as you watch the sunset together.....".

It's tough on a limited budget, but you live in an area of cafes and trails...go out for coffee, talk and get to know each other a bit, then take a walk along a populated trail or near the water. The picnic by the water was also a good idea.

wine Good luck.
