Ciaran being a Man U fan I have to say today is one day when I can put rivalries aside. Also if anyone believes in justice they should not buy the rag known as the Sun. What they printed about the Liverpool fans was beyond belief. Kelvin MacKenzie should have been shot for what he did. So if there is any justice in the world a good start would be seeing the sun lose a lot of readers.

I will never forget the sight of those fantastic
Liverpool supporters ferrying the injured across
the pitch, whilst the emergency services stood
around with apparent indifference.
My heart goes out to the families and friends of
those who suffered on that terrible day.
I can only hope we never see anything like this
again and the hurt suffered by all involved eases
with the passing of time.

R.I.P. The ninety six.

thumbs up thumbs up
When you walk through a storm
Hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark

At the end of the storm
Is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of the lark

Walk on through the wind
Walk on through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown

Walk on walk on with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone

its touching to see a post here dedicated to the people who lost their lives that day,im a liverpool fan all my life and have been to the memorials in anfield.they are really nice.i cant imagine what it would feel like to loose a loved one in such awful circumstances and then for a rag of a newspaper, the sun,to slander and soil the good name of the liverpool supporters.

all i can say is that my heart is with the ones whos have died and their families.

five of us had tickets but stayed in the pub and missed the train from newcastle I have often wondered where we would have been as there was no seats those days as a young fella aged 5 I remember being passed over peoples heads down the terraces to the front of st james park all the kids were sitting on the wall and can remember watching George Best with awe then getting out into the back lane and fighting whos turn it was to be bestie this game lol . It was always a problem grounds designed for ? people no such thing just pack them in and the 70 were a nightmare you would spend as much time watching your back as the players

When I was at secondary school I had a pen pal from Liverpool.
A fine young lad. We met finally in the Summer of 1985 after I had done my Leaving Cert and before I started my Summer job. We stayed in contact and met a couple of times more as friends. Then that fateful day in 1989 took him away.
Stephen Brown, my thoughts are with you and your family today and the families of all those who perished needlessly in Sheffield that day
