I have no debts then again, I have no credit cards or otherwise
I pay cash for everything! I don't even like to owe my mom money but she is about the only person i'll borrow from but only if I know i can pay her back right away and she borrows from me too but that's not credit so yeah... credit = ick!
I have two credit cards and I just don't buy what I can't pay for.......
I like to have the ability to acquire what I want and when I want it. I save for it, and then I buy it, or take that trip, or whatever it happens to be. It's the way I was raised, I guess. I'm not cheap, I don't mind spending money, but with everything else that can happen in life, debt is one thing I don't want to have to worry about.
Very wise. I only told my son once that credit cards will bring you down if you aren't careful. I hoped if he learned from any of my mistakes it would be this one. Now that he is out of college, the credit cards applications are flooding in. I watch him throw them all away and just smile.

Well done you Assets.
Only put garage bills on my card that may have taken a few months to pay off.
But these days mostly clear. I'm not one for running up debts I can't afford. If it is not a desperate requirement, I go without, hoping I have taught my children the same.
