The peace and serenity, the mountains and friendly people and a very low crime rate. I absolutely love it here!

The small-town atmosphere just outside of a big city. Also the fact that Pittsburgh and it's surrounding areas is one of the largest meccas for the world of alternative/natural medicine and energy healing, and is gaining a great following for green living.
Also, the people here. Where I live was Steel Mill country, and these are hard-working, down-to-earth people who have great hearts and will help others out.

Santa Rosa, Northern California. Close to San Francisco. You get everything... small town living, half hour away from big city, hour or two away from snow... three to four away from big snow (rarely snows here), green forests and mountains all around you, half hour away from the ocean, cold in winter, cool in fall and spring, hot in summer and about 6 to 8 hours away from Disneyland/Los Angeles!

My neighbors, great people, friendly, inviting and kind. I'm located close to my job and anything else I could possible want.
I'm just a tad over a mile to a Mall, 7 minutes to grocery stores, 15 minutes from work. Restaurants galore within minutes. I'm surrounded by everything.

I live on a small Island... about 21 miles long and 12 miles wide with a population of about 100,000 people. Lovely Mediterranean weather, gorgeous seas all around, an incredibly Cosmopolitan and eclectic mix of people, a life style that places more value on time spent together rather than money spent and an attitude that allows people to take joy in their differences and celebrate who they are rather than who other people think they should be.
It´s a wonderful island of misfits... who all fit in here.
