I used to buy and sell jewellry and my partners sister had just got her spending money and bought these 3 rings for 10p each i said i will give you £3 she dived at the offer she was around 14 at the time i sold the one which was gold on silver with 3 big garnets in it to my mum because it was her favourite stone i sold it her for £3.50p the white gold diamond ring i sold for £30 and the other CZ gold ring i used to keep with my diamond tester for showing people sinthetic reactionsgrin
I also had this lad bring me a Rotary watch he said he wanted £5 for it i could see the gold hallmark and thought if he sees me get my loupe out he will know it's gold but i did and i said it's ok but only worth £3 he argued it's got to be worth a fiver so i gave it him and sold it for £75 i could fill this whole thread with my stories but here's 2 to start the ball rollingcheers grin cool conversing rolling on the floor laughing

I bought a child's trampoline for my grandaughter for 3 pounds 8 years ago, it has been out in the garden summer and winter it is still going strong after my third grandchild is enjoying it now.

Framed pictures. The picture is worth hee-haw, but the frame can be terrific. Sporty Spice looks fantastic in my living room in a lovely wooden frame!

Yes, there always seems to be boxes of old framed pictures at my local charity shop. Usually photos of old ships though which put me off checking out detective the frames.

Harmony must be difficult to achieve in a house full of birds.

It sounds like cockatiel is jealous and needs a new toy also!

Do you have a favourite ? grin wave
