A cell phone is a mobile telephone, Zee.

A seat belt is a belt that pulls across your body and clips into a lock.

Anything else you would like to know?

In California, I think seat belts mandatory has been for like about... I think more than 5 or 6 years... maybe even more than that. They will pull you over instantly. Blue tooth or ear piece on the cell phone since July of last year. New law this year... no smoking in your vehicle if you have children under 18 in vehicle.

I like that law.

The no smoking one, for children under the age of 18.

It's 18 and under for seatbelts in NH Daniel.

I would love to see a hands free law. I've lost count of how many times I've come close to being hit by someone with a cellphone in their hands while driving

NH doesn't require insurance when you register a vehicle. Here in NC, you can't get license plates unless you have insurance

Just a comment, but it's legal until you get caught. Some places it is rare to see a cop.... ever.

Hi Arlene, nice to see you.

So, if the driver smokes, he could be sued in California???

No, it is not legal until you get caught.

It is still illegal if it is the law.

If you can get away with it, then a lucky SOB is what you are.

Don't know about California, just the province in Canada where I live. People will just get huge fines. Doesn't make sense.
