Mornin, quite a divided view on this one.
I don't believe you can, i think you can like what you see of a person by the way they interact and by talking to them begin to lay the foundations of a sound friendship maybe something more.
But to fall in love, i think you have to met the person, and take it from there.
Love, lust and infatuation are all very different so i think it is important to keep hold of reality until you meet the person

You can get stong feeling for some one, and I think if u really have this...it is quite possible to fall in Love.....
Other wise no body would make the effort to Travel around the Globe to meet with the New Love....

i would travel to find out how we got on in RL, not because i loved them.I had been talking to guy on here, all well we met and after 2 days i couldn't stand him, he just wasn't what i thought he would be like at all

I see your point, I guess u just have to have luck, but I would´nt travel to him with out Feelings...
So u must have a bit of attraction to do that I think, but has to be from both sides....
up to now I have´nt traveled yet.....My first date would be in combitation of a Holiday somewhere together, just in case it didnt work out, at least the trip would not be for nothing....
No rush......

In my opinion you cannot fall in love with someone you have never met.
