And if so what is your opinion about starting relationships with these persons? I am always getting people over seas and i think that most women here do....and i can understand why you said you were wondering about the close ones for logical reasons. I am also wondering why we are getting the ones across country but not the ones my side of the country??.makes you wonder??

I dont mind makeing friends. I get a tad bit nervous about some countries, i wont mention any. my mom did marry a man from scotlnd about 6 years ago, they are still toegether. i just worry about what their intentions are green cards, scams, or trying to run from countries that are in the war zone.

There are settings installed by this site where you can block others from other countries from contacting you.

It never hurts to make more friends. Certainly when they live in other countries. As to starting relationships with them - if I can't see myself going to that country even to visit, then I tell them so. Sometimes even out of the province (in Canada) for some could be a challenge but at least if they're on the same continent there is a chance you could meet up somewhere.

That is a valid question and concern. I feel the same way. No offense to anyone but I probably wouldn't meet someone in person from another country. It's only because of the distance.
My replies are mostly from people here in the states. I do get things from Europe and beyond but I only chat with folks who are here. That's just me tho - may not be the same bowl of ice cream for someone else...

most of my msgs are from men overseas also , and i too would prefer someone from the uk , because i like to meet someone fairly quickly after we have started chatting say witin a month esp if its someone i feel i get on with thats my choice tho and i do think that overseas relationships can work for some people but i doont feel they are right for me
