Look, I have a solution to the question about the north-south divide and which direction Guiri should take. Thinking strategically I suggest he simply works both sides of the fence...ya know.

I'm very athletic. Just went to see a physiotherapist who forbid me for the 100th time to stretch my legs too much. See, it's not a good thing when you do that too much and lose some of the natural resistance that keeps your body in balance.

Yes, she is an extraordinarily gifted person. But just like any of us, she wanted to belong. She poured her heart out to us, asking for compassion, and we helped her with comforting words, some not very nice, but at least she got some reaction.
She knew she went over the top about the serious things, and she wanted to make up for it by making attempts for lighthearted banter and making jokes just like everybody else - in her own way - but nobody really understood..
I saw her struggling to fit in and I feel very sorry that she failed..
Ama, I disagree with you....one never fails here....you screw up, you go...you come back, you screw up, and go again....it's evolutionary. Don't you think?...it's ok to screw up here. By next week no-one remembers who you are anyway...it's wonderful...

I know.. but I wish she'd see it that way - that CS is a very good learning ground .. and that nobody can't really touch you if you don't let them. But some people do take this very seriously and get affected with it just like in RL
