It's okay. I just wanted to say that .. maybe some food for thought for us when all we can think of is to have some fun over here. There are very nice people here, but there are also those who can't stand those kind of things. Fabulous!!! My lovely students took me out to an Irish bar. Irish bars in Spain are a poor imitation, but suited the occasion! You knpw, loud English music with football on the widescreen, and Guiness on tap.

Bof. I shoulda gone and got her outa there but I had to start work earlier than normal and what with walking the dog, buying bread and ham (cut off the bone not the wet stuff in packets Muuum!) for the junior lunches, getting the car parked where it wouldn't get ticketed etc... did I have time? Hell no.
So tomorrow I'll be up at 6.30 in order to do dog walking and school run (tube is on strike again - I hate tube drivers!) and collect her before work (start even earlier in this place) and hopefully spend part of the day playing with her... I have freelance articles to file before Monday so ought to get on with it!
Out to play in the evening, meeting mates in a bar and will probably end up in one of the Irish ones in the Old Town here... doh!
I have to say your students sound fab - buying you presents and taking you out to bars and so forth. You must be one Hell of a teacher.
Must go to sleep, can't believe it's already so late. (Only just finished today's mountain of washing up and paperwork.)
