Sorry, but I feel very sad............ too much happened at the weekend and I failed to cope with it all.
At least I got over my minimum target on Sunday and raised 1,388 euros for local charities - loads of stuff was donated which I auctioned off; including a limited edition print of 'The Bounty' that went for 280 euros and an original painting kindly donated by a local CS member that raised 12 euros - it all helped in these times of recession when many people are suffering themselves and 'charity fatique' sets in!

Knowing it is my own fault doesn't really help - it only makes me feel more miserable.......... when people care for you, and you spoil it all by upsetting them it's really 'not on', is it?
Now, apart from smoking way too much, I think I might have a minor problem with alcohol - so I am going to kick drinking my daily three plus glasses of red wine per day and see if it makes any difference.
I must say that the weather has been fantastic here the past few days - had a couple of friends over for a bbq last night, and it was very pleasant chilling out with some good food, pleasant conversation and a couple of glasses of wine/lemonade/coke........... shame only one garden chair was unbroken, as I'd smashed the others in anger on Sunday night!
I hate conflict, but I can get verbally aggressive if I feel 'put down' too much.......... I wonder if other people are totally different or similar in their reaction to non-stop criticism?
(eventually if things get totally on top of me I decide to take out my anger/frustration on inanimate objects like garden chairs......... well, wanted a new set anyway!)

Yes, it is very good to stick to smashing garden furniture, specially if its the plastic kind...... wrought iron furniture could fight back and cause grievious body harm.
Do not chastise yourself for being human. Remember, you are not God so you cannot be perfect. If you give up drinking your daily 3 glasses of vino, then what else will you drink/do? Try watering the vino down a bit ... and still enjoy the sunsets with glass in hand.
If you leave your cigarettes somewhere far away from where you`re sitting that will encourage you to not smoke too much.

Thanks - I got told I did a very good job on Sunday by everybody, but I'd rather have not done it and still had my darling here with me.......... I've ruined her holiday and we are both heartbroken. She thinks it's the alcohol - I think the alcohol is merely a symptom of a far deeper malaise.
Oh - I am NOT stupid enough to fight with wrought iron furtniture..... it definitely fights back!
