RobertC2: " Dear World,

When you read this note I shall be long gone.

I know you didn't really dislike me, but it sure came over that way at times!

I was only visiting anyway, andthere are several other worlds I wish to visit and I find this world far too violent for my sensitive nature.

There are always earthquakes and volcanos erupting, and hurricanes reaping destruction etc.

The flora and fauna spend most of the time here killing each other in some weird almost cannibalistic dance of life and death - this world frightens me!. "

Hi Rob

personally I like the fact that we are generally treated by others as we treat them .. it's one of the best points of life for me .. it means we get more or less what we deserve in the end, don't you think? .. cheers

RobertC2: Thanks.

Knowing it is my own fault doesn't really help - it only makes me feel more miserable.......... when people care for you, and you spoil it all by upsetting them it's really 'not on', is it?

Now, apart from smoking way too much, I think I might have a minor problem with alcohol - so I am going to kick drinking my daily three plus glasses of red wine per day and see if it makes any difference.

I must say that the weather has been fantastic here the past few days - had a couple of friends over for a bbq last night, and it was very pleasant chilling out with some good food, pleasant conversation and a couple of glasses of wine/lemonade/coke........... shame only one garden chair was unbroken, as I'd smashed the others in anger on Sunday night!

I hate conflict, but I can get verbally aggressive if I feel 'put down' too much.......... I wonder if other people are totally different or similar in their reaction to non-stop criticism?

(eventually if things get totally on top of me I decide to take out my anger/frustration on inanimate objects like garden chairs......... well, wanted a new set anyway!)
You either have a problem with Alcohol,or you don't.
No such things as "Minor Problems".grin conversing

I'll drink to that! wine

Seriously, though - if I take some medication for depression it should NOT be taken with alcohol......... I think you're supposed to swig down the pills with something totally disgusting called 'water'! grin

I made a fool of myself yesterday because I couldn't find the bike key, well thank goodness I found out yesterday and not today when I'm in a hurry, but in the end I had to put the trolley on the other bike but had to unscrew some tight bolts and also change the tire from the other bike... all this with frail female force or lack of it and sensitive muscles, so I was swearing and howling and scaring the neighbourhood. Why do I always have to do such things on my own? So I was really pissed off from being alone with this sort of problem plus wondering how they can open the lock on the other bike... I woke up with anxiety this morning only because of all that. And yes I smashed some bike parts while I was at it... Don't know if it helps to hear but life can be infuriating at times for whatever reason... however I'd stop drinking and smoking and do qigong or something else instead, it's amazing how much more effective it is! cheers

You have my sympathies Symbol.

This morning I arose at 4.30am, to sit out in the cool of the desert morning before God switched on the heat ... listening to the birds waking up and singing ........ my eyes alighted on a glint of water .....around the water tank and spreading to under the cars.

Here in Arab land they pump the piped water into two humungous water tanks and from there it gets pumped up to a tank on the roof.... So I ambled down there - (it`s next to my Oasis thing I`m creating that now was like an island in the middle of this new lake) - and heard a waterfall ...... sloshed around calf deep in mud, losing my slops, and found the entire outlet pipe at the back had rotted off and the tank was emptying itself, and draining the tank next to it too! The valve tap seemed to be locked into position, and the Man Of The House is not here!I ran back to the house to whisper in daughter-in-laws ear that all the water is running away. "Ah so, we got no water, is okay" and she went back to sleep. So I rolled another smoke and didnt worry either. No Man, No Can Fix Problem.

After I`d completed yesterdays crossword puzzle, I took another look .... and the bottle of vinegar to loosen the rust on the valve handle ... and hey presto it worked, so I was able to at least preserve the water in the one tank (while it filled again)!

Amazing how one can actually use ones brain sometimes - without a man around?!

Men are just such amazing creatures to have around a house for catastrophes like this.
cheers

rolling on the floor laughing I'm not sure what you're doing out there? No one told me! And I'm not sure I get the story either... however one thing is clear, men are good for SOMETHING, and geez was I wondering where that man was when I really needed him!!! I'm an emancipated women, probably just like you, however why should we have to take care of all those things that men do so much better... Sigh, makes me miss my ex! doh he was so handy. I'm pretty handy, resourceful and smart myself but I'm getting older and more tired, and my health issues aren't getting better on the physical level... But I bite my tongue and feel like a fool for swearing for three hours so everyone could hear it and try and carry my cross with dignity despite it all... cheers
