Ali, I don't know what you mean by hangings children around their necks I assume you think the fathers do not support there children after they are divorce. This is not true in most cases although I am sure as the class or income levels are reduced the frequency of non support increases. Don't confuse things you see on TV as they are looking for market share and will sensationalize to make a point.

With regards to why western women would not date any other Culture or person from anther country perhaps rather than asking why they wouldn't you could provide reason why they should. This would give them something to consider rather than looking for negative to not do this. Just a though.

I dont think your saying our culture is bad. I just disagree with your assumption that the men leave and the women are faced with the problems and pains as you put it. Often it is the woman who terminates the marrage. The men are forced to leave the home and find living acomidations else where. They are also required to pay child support until the child is 18 or graduatied from College. Our divorce courts based on past cultural practices also place the child with the mother more often than the father. They also require the husband to sometimes pay Alimony. Yes some women and more importantly children are abandon by the fathers but I think this is the exception and not the rule. I also think this occurs more in the lower income families as they dont have the $ to pay.

Many Father stay invovled in the lives of their children with weekly visits going to event the kids are participating in etc. In the US we tend to hear more about the exceptions than the rule. I guess it sels better like Jerry Springer. Here on CS I would not assume we are representative of the Majority anymore than you are for Pakistan. Just making a point Ali that is all. How is it handled you your country.
