......Can't comment on that one here in New Zealand,but all what I can say ,the amount of people I have seen 'txting' while driving,even on the Freeways/Motorways..........

I haven't went to church in several years, I tried a few different churches, once I became an adult, and honestly most of them, didn't try to be a pastor to their congregation, they tried to be their friend, and most always acted as those everyone in their church was going to heaven, not none of them were sinners, they were all kinda brainwashing and the counselor types... I expect a church to preach the bible from the Bible, not talk about when they are having their next bake sell...SADly most are only in it for the money..JMO------ This thread is Archived ------

.....Yep....have to agree here....and I will add one more here, the hypocrisy I have seen and heard by so called Christian religious people just makes me want to....

yes it takes some shopping to find a healthy bible based church
in the end times there will be many that speak honey to the ears and their numbers will grow
that isnt to say no appropriate churches will be around
why judge an entire group?
if you try one that isnt right for you that doesnt mean there are none to be had.
and of course texting in church would be inappropriate
but then it makes me feel compassion for people who are showing up at church and getting nothing out of it because they go just to go

christians have taken up a practice- have a desire to improve
no one says christians are sposed to be perfect but non christians
christ never asked anyone to be perfect

Exactly, mindful - perfection can only be achieved when we enter God's Kingdom, and I would love to see where, in ANY Christian based Bible, that Christ expects or demands that we should be perfect in this life - even the Saints never achieved that, but they certainly tried, and that's ALL Christ asks of us - that we TRY.

I'm sure that if you were to look inside the womb of any pregnant woman, the foetuses would also be busy sending off text messages on their cell phones! And do you think that if you were to dig up any recent grave you WOULDN'T find the corpse busy sending off text messages from inside the coffin too..?!
