If Jesus comes back to earth, will he be crucified again? ( Archived) (110)

It should be interesting to see the response or reaction from christians when the second coming of Christ arrives. Will they recognise it/Him? Do they believe that He will look the same as the christian drawings and paintings depicted Him 2000 years ago? Is he the one they are looking for?

Remember the Jews.

It was written in the scriptures of the Old Testament of the coming of the 'Messiah', but when he arrived, the Jews did not recognise Him. They totally disregarded Him and persecuted Him for His teachings, which contradicted the perceptions and views the Jews held of who and what their Messiah would be. They 'envisioned' their Messiah would be born unto royalty, in all of the glory of God, surrounded by riches and possessing all of the power of a literal "King". Jesus was none of those. Obviously, the Jews misunderstood the scriptures. Are they still awaiting the arrival of their Messiah, 2000 years after the fact?

Don't forget also, that there were many Gospels written depicting the teachings of Jesus that were rejected by the early christians who canonized the new testament. These codexes were later found at Nag Hammadi and include the gospels of Mary Magdelene, the gospel of Thomas, The Gospel of Phillip, Dialogues of the Savior, and even a gospel of Judas.
These gospels depict Jesus as holding more of a 'Gnostic' point of view which contradicts the 'orthodoxed' christianity that is established. Will the second coming of Christ preach Gnosticism, something that goes against what every christian has ever put their faith in? Will history once again repeat itself with the christians persecuting their own saviour because they have been disillusioned by their own perceptions?

This event shall be more than a little interesting.

While Jesus, upon his return, could never be again crucified as he was has "the Son of Man", it certainly does appear from previous post, the "Word of God" has been severely crucified.

(Hosea 4-6) Do you see the difference from one translation "destroyed", to another "Cut off" makes? Just as the author of this thread used his, or somebody elses, interpretation, concerning the Word of God, the results of Babylon, babble, still divide, "Cut off". All for the individual pleasure of those claiming to know the Truths, as if their own. A simple Truth told when Jesus spoke of the greatest commandment, (Mark 12 ) 29"The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. 31 The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'There is no commandment greater than these."

What human being, Loving God, as the person would love themselves, provide, and do good for oneself, would choose to commit the faults of the other commandments against oneself, or their neighbor. No one, except those who choose to "Cut off" the fact we are One human race, of diverse identities, and abilities, for the purpose of the whole.

however you have a fine writing ability, why don't you use it in a better way than this....

If you were daughter of God and sister of Jesus;You would not wanted Jesus to be cruciefied again,when he come to earth.

He will not be cruciefied again!

You should listen the Truth in you and in men from God,and not yourself !
When you listen The Truth,then your self is right !

any way, Jesus is greater than Buddha and indian beliefs.
Buddha was man who obeyed some beliefs from God,and he would not get if Jesus didn,t give him.
