I was a vegetarian at one time. Still ate eggs and dairy products though.

I don't see the point to it anymore. Unless you're like totally against killing animals or something. But nature does that all the time anyway so what's the point to that?

But I have seriously problems with people who think eating meat is unhealthy. I simply don't see the results. I know elderly people who are in good health who have eaten meat all their lives. And I've seen sickly vegetarians who preach the health hazards of eating meat. What a contradiction!

So I suppose I just don't have a good motive to go back to being strictly veggie. Although I could. I do like veggies. I just don't see the problem with meat.

My sister is a strict veggie and has been one for a very long time, but to be quite honest about it she is NOT the healthiest person I know. In fact, based on her alone I would conclude that being a veggie causes mental illness. rolling on the floor laughing

Semi-vegetarian, I guess, if there is such a thing. My daughter decided to become one, so we eat vegetarian at home. Still eat fish, dairy, eggs. She is totally off all other meat. I am as of now, but not as committed as she is.

i am a complete vegetarian, but i am NOT a vegan. i do eat unfertilized eggs, dairy, and honey.

no fish, no animal bi-products...that includes gelatin.

i've been a vegetarian for...let's see...almost seventeen years. i'm VERY healthy about it, and i make damned sure i get the proper nutrients. in this time, i've been ill all of FOUR times...and before i become one i was sick almost constantly.

i am also one hell of a cook.

I heard vegetarians taste better, any truth in that? I eat lots of vegetarian dishes, but only because I like them not because I am a vegetarian.

then make sure you do it the RIGHT way. have plenty of soy protein, it's the only complete protein that isn't meat-based, and don't over-load on fried foods. some people think that if they are a vegetarian and eat french fries for every meal, they are actually being healthier. go figure.

lots of whole grains, veggies, fruits...

and pasta! yummy yummy pasta!
