Ja ja, the old curmudgeon is doing fine! He has a room with a view... of the Zurich lake, lots of pretty young nurses, good food, swiss doctors, a private telephone, lots of fancy gym equipment, and his personal Physiotherapist .... a big huge guy with muscles like Arnold Schwartzenegger. He has absolutely NO reason to complain, at all!

I was in hospital for a week; it was mental rather than physical......... I made sure I had internet access..... I needed it to make loads of money!

Money never made anyone happy, it destroys your mental health.
However, to assist you in your full recovery, I have no objections to taking it off you. You will feel ever so much better mentally.
The only reason they give mental patients internet access is cause it keeps them quiet.
In hospitals for physical ailments there is no internet access, cause it may interfere with some of their life-saving equipment operations, and also because their patients still have all their faculties intact.
Don`t let me digress, remember, I will make much better use of your money than you can, I have an incredibly strong mind so it will not affect me.

Phoned Conrad this evening ..... he is still in Rehab. and reckons he will be there for another one and half weeks. Says he is feeling stronger, and marching up and down 60 stairs now! without any pain.....
Well, he was huffing and puffing when phoned, said he was about to "step out" ... whatever that means? I guessing there must be some rather attractive patients or nurses ... for him to be "stepping out"?!
He`s having to do excercises every day, all the time. Told him he has MANY MANY pages of good wishes to read thru when he gets back home - probably masses of emails, flowers, and eCards too!

ConradDefinitely time to ask the Conrad question again! So he had heart surgery....that's no excuse for avoiding the forums!!

I thought Grannies got to sit in the sun and weave baskets ........ but the last three weeks I fall into bed at night and say fervent prayers that I will have strength to get out of bed the next morning!
Sorry everyone, I`m shabby, I know. But we busy knocking out the inside of our house, and its got to all be finished before the sub-zero freezing weather arrives!
I havent even phoned my sister, my best friend, or anyone else!
But tomorrow, I promise, I will phone Conrad and see where and how he is, and report back here - okay?
