I am also being admitted to hospital for a couple of weeks; they wanted me admitted today but I am putting it off until Monday morning to be able to sort out a few important things first and to give meds a chance to start working first.

I am glad you were amused, although it wasn't funny.
I saw a very nice lady psychiatrist for almost two hours this morning and then she had a long discussion about me with another psychiatrist............ then they called me and both spoke to me.
They felt it would be best for me to be admitted to hospital immediately, but i have put it off until Monday as there are a few things I have to do and anyway it takes up to two weeks for meds to work and I've only been taking them for three days - so what would the point be apart from the fact they were concerned that the meds might make be feel more energetic and perversely more likely to commit suicide if not careful.
I thought I was only 'manic' when feeling 'too happy' and go silly and start giving all my money away and things like that but apparently getting nasty is also a sign of being in a manic phase.
I MUST GET BETTER - I DO NOT WISH TO BE A DANGER TO THOSE I LOVE (and by those I love I do NOT mean Lagoona).
They seemed very positive. They said I had shown considerable courage in dealing with some very stressful and deeply unhappy times.......... maybe I'll come out of this a decent human being - miracles do sometimes happen!

Robert, you love to criticise me on my relationship track record, the fact of the matter is, you know nothing about it...you have no real clue as to who I have dated or not over the last 2 years....and I could also take more opportunity to mention that you have had probably 4 or 5 relationships in the last 2 years...so who are you to judge??...I just don't think that those kinds of personal judgements are appropriate here.....
