I commented probably too much on older women wearing their hair short. Another question: "why do guys -young or old, wear their hair long"???Do you think a pony tail on a middle-aged guy looks hot??? Or Is the buzz cut suited for any man, young or old???Moonkitten
Out of my three boys (adults now), one has long hair, to his waist, one has medium hair, to his shoulders, and the youngest has short hair. They all look good. I don't see why men can't have their hair any way they want it.
thats fine, I'm a guy, we can shave our heads, or grow it to our butts...Women, to me look much better with LONGER hair. Just me...I don't consider bald or any woman with shorter hair then mine for a date. When I was younger, my hair was half way down my back,..I can't do that now, all my hair left my head and headed for my back
Inthewoods: Why is it that almost all heavy women have short hair?
my best friend is a bit heavy and her hair is short she shaved it because he 10 year old nephew had to go through chemo and lose his hair and she promised if he lost his she shave hers-people mistake her for gay all the time and nothings further than the truth
you cant judge if a person is gay or straight by their hair-now if a guy has long hair and a dress thats different
To me cleanliness of a guys hair is more important than length. There is nothing worse than a guy with greasy hair or a head full of dandruff. The last guy I met had so much dandruff that every time he moved his head, he left it all over the dinner table............Hence I didn't see him again, especially as it came with dirty fingernails......YUK
I must admit to prefering a guy with a naturally receeding hairline/ natural baldness, to one who shaves his head. The shaved head looks very thuggish and there are very few guys who can carry it off.

I feel like somewhat of an authority on this subject.
When I was 19-20 I had long hair. Like the traditional Jesus image. My girlfriend meanwhile had very short hair ( I think it was called the pixie look??) like Winona Ryder.
We had a terrific time. She (in her pixie period) is probably my favourite memory.
Now, when I met her about 4 years later, nature had taken it's terrible and cruel toll upon my glorious barnet while she had grown her hair long. (I think this was known as the 'Rachel' look?)
We briefly rekindled our romance. Briefly being the key word as we could no longer stand each other.
I can conclude therefore that young men should have long hair, young women short.
I consider this definitive.
I reckon both mine and Winona's downfalls are essentially hair related.
I have had my hair long since i was 14. I'm not cutting it. If you don't like its its cool. I like girls with long hair but it's not a must. To me it's all how the person looks. Some women can pull off short hair and look really hot. Some can't, they look like guys. To me if you limit your self to only one thing you are missing out on a lot. As with all things in life.
