I agree. But if this man was sooo lucky that he made it into your heart. He could have told you this privately and with confidence.

I abhor violence in any form (apart from when I get tied up in my Batman outfit) and publishing on an international site that you killed two people because they tried to rob you, I dont think is (here we go with an Englishman's phrase) "the done thing"

... and Nipper, if the guy is a fake, then fine ... I am ok with it.

There are other people on this site who have done "time for a crime" and maybe they have exercised a little more reserve than Thunder, and decided not to share this.

This may have done their level of confidence a little bit of a booster.

Sorry, Thunder, I am not going to be able to square this off with myself, nothing personal, just nothing so personal as this.

Too much for me, man. handshake

Understood Belushi. I am just not one to hide is all. What other ex cons do is their business. i perfer to be out in the open is all. Yes my felony is on the internet. In fact it is #4 on Yahoo. So why hide it. Let me ask you something. If your daughter was on here and interested in a guy like me - wouldn't you appreciate the fact I came straight out with it instead of finding out later? Just some food for thought is all. I've made right choices for the past 7 years now - and I do not see this as a wrong choice either. Atleast I know that any woman who talks to me now will know and it saves a lot of time and heartache. Thanks for your opinion sir.

Ok,Im back.

Thunder, in my eyes, everyone is equal, until you prove me wrong.

I wouldnt care if, in your youth, you stole your mother's handbag to wear on a daily basis to school and you preferred to be called Gloria.

It dont bother me.

If my daughter came home and said I found this realy great guy on the net, and he loves me and he wants to get married and have kids and Im pregnant with his triplets, and he wears women's clothes and has a handbag - oh and by the way he killed two people cos they were trying to rob him.

The ONLY question I would ask you, was ... Will you make my daughter happy?

If you tell me yes, then you are in my family until she is not happy, and then Thunder, the wrath of God knows no fury like Belushi scorned.

So,my dear fellow, I have no issue with what has gone before. I only know that now, you have the intention to make an even better life than you have now.
Power to your elbow.

Damn how do I respond to you? Just when I think I have seen and learned it all - someone comes around who teaches me new things. In america Belushi things are not so simple. i won't go into it - but it took me 7 long years to live what I did down. Here a man can have done his time - but he still pays for it in one way or another for the rest of his life.

Ahh yes, but in my house, things are that simple.

In the UK its also difficult. But I was given a chance once by someone, and I took it. It had nothing to do with a crime of anysort.
Just a choice I had to make.
Because I took it, I now understand a few more things than I did before, I am prepared to overlook most of other people's shortcomings.

Life is too short to dwell on the past. If it is the past that rules our lives, then we can never look forward to the future.

We have to move on and that is what you are doing.

You were NOT wrong Nipper - you expressed your opinion and right or wrong - it was right in your eyes. That is all that matters. I'm not proud of what I did - but rest assured - I am not a phony or a fake and there are people who really do knowme on here that can testify to it. Some people know me on here in PERSON. Ask lord313 - she will tell ya. We spent a whole two weeks together in Indiana. You are still entiled to your opinion tho. I can't criticize you or blame you either way.

Honestly you are right. I have no remorse. They needed killing and I am glad the buck stopped with me. Proud tho - now that is another story. How can anyone be proud of taking a life - let alone two? I do not know if you ever killed someone - but a part of you dies with them. And it gets easier after the first time. you have to strongly resist the temptation. Proud no - unremorseful - yes. They died quick - I lived a slow death. Big difference.

Threads don't go that easily. Once written they stay around.

You were able to do what a lot of us would wish we could do in your given situation. Your sentance seemed harsh.

As an English woman I applaud your honesty, no secrets, no lies, all good.

Take care
Siren
