I have a friend that called me the other day. She told me that her sister's cafe' in Austin Texas was voted having the #1 cheeseburger in Austin, TX and the second best in the State of Texas. Where do you get your favorite burger at.

Home so I can make it with organic ground beef and have it on my gluten-free bread on the rare occasions (like last Saturday) that I have one.
It used to be Burger King, the Whopper value meal with onion rings instead of the fries and a diet coke. Believe it or not, I don't miss those. I like it my way better now, with organic blue corn chips and distilled water, followed by an organic orange for dessert.

I have to take some lessons from you before I turn into a burger
For now I make my own by grinding up a lean steak. That way I don't get all the grease.Soon I'll be living on a farm where we'll be raising our own beef cattle.

Trust me, Ave, after a while you truly prefer eating healthy and don't crave the junk. I've discovered it's an addiction, those junk foods. And once you get it cleared out of your system, you don't want it anymore. My best friend and I were discussing that yesterday because she's noticed the same thing.
I'm a former chocoholic who can now walk past it and not crave it.
And I've just figured out my difficulty with quitting smoking at the moment. My system knows not to try to deal with eliminating too many addictions at once, and I've eliminated addictions to sugars, starches and fats recently. Time to let my body adjust before I eliminate another one.

Use to love Wendy's with chili and a coke. Now I rarely eat red meat,if I made a burger now it would have onion powder, garlic powder, pepper a tad of italian dressing and when cooked, topped off with either tomatoes and miracle whip or just dill pickles. Best burger ever as far as dining out goes, The Ground Round, now defunt. They had the best burgers no matter what you had on them.
