Ok ladies here is your chance to shine. Help us bachelors out. Share your favorite cooking recipies - so a man can learn to cook. Right now I am making hamburger helper, corn, macaroni and cheese and fried potatoes. Not all that great, but it is food. I love cooking with my croc pot better - but it is always a pain in the butt to clean all the time. So my question is - does anyone have some fast, recipies that are easy to make? Post em here. Hugs!

Good idea thumbs up

Here are a few of my most favorite recipes...

Cheeseburger Mac N Cheese

-A box or two of Kraft Mac N Cheese
-Cooked Ground beef
-Can of diced tomatoes
-Chopped up onions, green peppers (optional)

-Cook mac n Cheese as the directions on the box says, then add your cooked ground beef, onions, green peppers and diced tomatoes and mix and then serve. I normaly add a salad with it and some croissants or rolls. My kids love this recipe.

Brocoli/Cauliflower Casserole

-Cooked & chopped up brocoli
-Cooked & Chopped up Cauliflower
-Cooked baby carrots (optional)
-1 can of Cream of mushroom
-1 can of cream of brocoli or celery (your choice)
-half a can of water
-1 Tbsp of Mayo (optional)
-Croutons
-Grated cheddar cheese (I sometimes use marble)

-In a casserole dish line up the cauliflower, brocoli and carrots.

-In a seperate mixing bowl mix together the cream of mushroom, cream of brocoli (or celery), mayo, half can of water and croutons. Then pour mixture over the veggies and top with the grated cheeses.

-Bake in the oven at 350F for about 20 minutes or until cheese is fully melted and bubbling.

Some serve it with rice or salad but I find it filling just like that. And its my most fave recipe.

Crock Pot Pork Chops

-Pork chops
-BBQ sauce (I get the diana sauces or bulls eye..your choice)

Line bottom of crock pot with some sauce, then layer with one pork chop and then again sauce and so on etc...Cook it on low for about 6 to 7 hours. Check your chops for tenderness as temperatures varie in crock pots.

I serve it with rice (and use the left over sauce in the crock pot to pour over rice) and corn on the cob and rolls. Again really yummy and simple to make. Also makes your home smell soooo yummy!

I have a few more but will stop for now lol

Enjoy and look forward to reading others recipes

Tracy :o)

Dinner tomorrow night is hot italian sausage, a can of diced tomatoes, a few peeled & chopped potatoes, all in a caserole dish & cooked for the day at 250 degrees. Or if you're in a hurry, 350 for a few hours, but slow cooked is best. You could do it in your crockpot too...
