Our biggest and most successful internet love was Max!
One Xmas I was talking to my son about diffrent dog breeds and I tried to explain what a Gordon Setter looks like. A dobermann with long hair??? I picked up my laptop and googled Gordon Setters. We saw Max, a Gordon Setter rescue dog, that was 8 years old and because of his age, nobody wanted him. He had been in so many different homes.
Three weeks later he was brought to our house, first thing he did was pee in all corners, not funny at the time. I suppose he was marking his new home. He was our faithful companion for nearly 7 years after that.
And there they say that internet love doesn't last
I have Lucy Rain Applewhite. She is a 9 year old white fuzz ball cat. She was so mean as a kitten she became know as Lucifur. I was raised around cats, but never met one like her. I watered plants, she made mudpies, I peeked at her around a corner and almost lost an eye. I am the lady at the vet pulling the cat off her back. For 9 years we have been fighting and I will probably be in the home for the bewildered when I lose her. "I Lucy "
I have two wonderful and fantastic cats named Misty and Dusty. They are sisters and were 10 years old last November. Misty and Dusty are inside cats and have never, ever touched grass and been outside my home.
During the day they allow me to feed them, clean up after them, brush them and for them to sit on my lap. All relationship activity must be started by them. They are in control of everything.
At night both sleep on the bed with me at the foot. One or the other will wake me up if I sleep too late and past when they want their breakfast.
Oh, by the way I hate cats! I inherited these when my wife passed away three years ago. So I will ensure they are happy and cared for until they go to kitty heaven or I believe kitty HELL!!!

I tried bringing them on RV vacations with me.... That didn't work. They would get in the middle of the RV and sink their nails into the carpet. Then hide up under the dash! Worst they found a secret place under the queen bed that can't be gotten to without removing the bed. Trust me this isn't an easy task. I was once delayed for four hours to take the bed out to get to them.
Mine is just insane I've come to realize. Found her starving in the parking lot, ringowrm- ewww, and very poor shape. Took he in, named her Pooter, got her healthy and she's growing leaps and bounds now, up the windows, she thinks the dog is her personal kitty bed, and the dog has adopted her as her puppy. We have interspecies love in the house.
I have 7 cats, who are diverse, crazy individuals, but totally lovable. I think we are poor with discipling and correcting our dogs behaviour though. Pepsi is a terrier 7 years old, generally ok but SO cranky when she's tired. If you put a hand near her when she's dozing she'll snap, we just avoid her as she seems too far gone to correct. Bailey is a 1 year old Retriever and is still in the puppy phase but often nips and really drives my sister nuts, he's obsessed with her, will jump on her and nip her for attention! Thing is, all down through the years, we've had lots of dogs and they always had behavioural issues, so I'm starting to think it's something we do!

They no longer travel with me.... thank heaven! Valium the only way to travel with cats unless you are a good Cat Person or Circus lion trainer....Note* to self, go to vet get kitty downers, don't every let one get out because you opened the sun roof.....no animals were hurt in this process..... Which way did he go.

Dog have rules, your dog has set a rule and is in control, this is like a learned rule, Don't reach down if you want her, make her come to you...Terriers are great but some have been known as terrorist....Bailey, is learning his place in life, The dog has Sis, number....If she yelling at the dog tell her to be quite...if she throwing her hands around and stand still untill the dog loses interest..Nipping never allowed. It's another rule that dogs have...Dogs don't make mistakes people everything your dog does is natural, Your sister will have to be calm and asserted...hope I've been some help

Lucky Max found true love...He was doing what dogs do. This is mine...#1 rule, maybe the reason he had so many homes. The Gordon is a fine hunting dog, dogs think like dogs. A great thing to have helped keep a rescue dog off the streets. I googled my Gordon....say that on here , you'll get mail...
