I see a lot of profiles with a dog, cat, horse, pet or critter in the pictures. You can tell alot about a person and through their pet. Animals don'ttttttttt LIE. If you don't like their animal,or if their pet doesn't like you there will be problems. If you watch a animal interact with their leader (you) you can tell alot about that person. Give it a try. What animal do you have, how do you treat them? No Sheep Jokes//// grin ok maybe a couple.

I've always been a dog person. I was with a dog person for ten years and our only children had tails.

I've sent people packing because they thought they were more important than those furry children. One started to get uppity about it and I told him in a calm, cold and clear voice; "This is that dog's home, he has a right to be here, you don't. You decide what happens in your home, I decide what happens in mine, GOT IT?"

Strangely enough he decided there was something he had to do at home and left in a hurry. Hasn't been back since.

Not that the dog or I give a damn.

I have 3 cats...1 just hangs around under the bed..can't get near her. I didn't think that there was an animal in the world that I couldn't get around, but she is a puzzle. I've befriended stray dogs and taken them in, dogs that no one could get near..but her...
I picked her up one day outside my house and she allowed me to, and pet her and then got her fixed. Since then...forget it. Do you think cats remember? Like after 2 years and many treats, you'd think that she would forgive me. I finally gave up and she has free access to her little domain. In the morning, I find cat toys in the water dish and in the food bowl. I think that she thinks they are kittens and is teaching them to eat...also found one in the litter box one day. Stupid cat!!!!heart wings but I love her.

Yup, would be fun to hear about the other member's pets!

There's one thing though (as another member already pointed out) - I've found that sometimes people get jealous and begin to compare their own "importance" to that of the pets in someone's life. Well, I hate to say it but I don't think I would consider giving up my pets to be with some person laugh, but there is absolutely NO need to try and compare how much time/money/love (most importantly) I can spend on my dogs vs. a boyfriend. It's just ridiculous, because every one of them has their OWN special place in my heart and my life, once I've welcomed them. Too often men have asked me if I would even be able to "love" them because I already have my dogs to love. roll eyes I would really suggest refraining from such questions or even such thoughts, as they're totally unproductive. I am looking for a human partner because the dogs cannot substitute a human, and yet the dogs are amazing and so far the very best things in my life, the craziest adventures, most wonderful travels and many lasting friendships have happened thanks to them.

I have posted some of my animals on my profile. I love my dogs dearly. I have a German Shorthair Pointer named "Chuckie", a beagle named "Daisy", and a Lab named "Isabelle". I also have 3 cats.
I am a big Dog Whisperer fan and believe that I am the pack leader over my animals. In return, I have healthy, well balanced dogs that respect me.
I did receive some disturbing news today, though. I spoke with my mother and she told me that someone shot her cat. Radar, her cat, is now at the vets and will have to have his leg removed. They expect him to make it.
My dad found him last night laying across the road from his home, crying. That really upset me that someone would do such a thing. I told her that I would of put a big sign out in my yard for everyone to see telling people that I did not appreciate them doing such a thing. It really takes a jerk to do such a thing. If my parent's cat was disturbing anyone, all they had to do was tell my parents and they would have kept Radar in the house.
Still upset about it!!! My parents really love that cat and it was from one of my cat's litters.

2 boxers and i treat them better than i treat myself.

I think in general animal lovers can be more caring, not sure if i would even date somebody who was not into animals.

You have a smart cat. She has an assocation with trauma. By placing the toys in the water and litter she is sending you a message if you take me to the vet again I'll get you.....rolling on the floor laughing
