hos1971Nova Scotia, Canada34 Threads 542 PostsI got proposed to twice yesterday within two mins of talking to the guys ... and they were serious..... they told me they were desperate to find true love and knew I was it after seeing my picture.At first I thought it was a joke, but nope they weren't being funny. One watned me to be his son's mother. One wanted to fly up to Canada to have the wedding this weekend... How do you get away from that without hurting someone's feelings? I tried being kind, but they were so insistant. I hate hurting people.. because they werent' being mean, but they were a little scary.

Have gotten so many that by now my response is always "why". Watch them try to come up with a real answer. Considering marriage has become little more than a business agreement, I wonder why anyone bothers any more if they already have their own health insurance. Don't need a piece of paper to love someone.

I've heard of people getting married after a few weeks and lasting forever, but how rare is that?
I know someone who got married after a two month internet relationship, and right now contemplating divorce. It was extremely sad to see someone do that to their two young girls.
