this recipe is YUM!! it was the only way I could get my kids to eat spinach cos you can't really taste it
potatoes - peeled and thinly sliced
sweet potatoes - peeled and thinly sliced
frozen or fresh spinach - chopped
1 pkt of french onion soup mix
small carton of cream
1 cup of milk
crushed or chopped garlic - (I always put loads in cos I love garlic
)
cracked pepper
grated cheese
put layers of potato, sweet potato and spinach in a greased oven proof dish
mix the soup mix, cream, milk, garlic and pepper and pour over the top of the potato mixture
put in the oven (approx 170-180 degrees) until potato starts to get soft
sprinkle with grated cheese (I put loads on
) and put back in the oven until cheese melts and turns slightly brown
THIS is a really really tasty meal.. and its great the next day too

3 mars bars
1 cup of cream
chop mars bar into small pieces.Microwave in 30 second intervals until melted. Add cream, stir ( will appear lumpy) microwave 30 seconds more. Stir & refrigerate. Can serve with fruit, marshmellows to dip.
