I try to respond to all e-mails & flowers even those that don't have a pic posted.However,if they are rude or I'm simply not interested in getting to know them more I'll just simply say thanks & nothing more.I'm not sure if I'd meet someone before seeing a picture of them though.As of this day I've only given out my e-mail to one person on here.I prefer to wait awhile to do that.

if my mother were to come on this site, she couldn't post her pictures. she is a professional psychologist, and having her pictures on a dating site would be...for lack of a better word...unprofessional.

I might have an informal chat with someone who doesn't have a pic, but would never consider meeting them and certainly I wouldn't/couldn't develop any feelings for them without both talking to them AND seeing what they look like. And it's not just because I have a "he's got to be gorgeous" type of criteria; it's because it's puts a face to the messages...the only people who truly don't "care" as much about what a person looks like would perhaps be a blind person, but even then I think they do care how they appear to other people. Again, though, it's not about looks, it's about ATTRACTION. And you can't be attracted to a blank gray square that says "No Photo."
