Just to add to the confusion. They've copied them out here (as they copy and pirate every thing) and they've called them Jaffa Bakes. Bícuits or cakes?dunno Depends where you eat them.

I'd also say biscuit because looks like one and tastes like one, plus cakes are suppose to be fresh for a very limited time. People who are unsure are probably deceived because its soft but technically most biscuits are.

Wiki always comes in handy for these things. Myself and some mates had the same argument before and the conclusion was that it's a cake because it's soft. The evidence:

"Throughout most of the world, the term biscuit still means a hard, crisp, brittle bread, except in the United States and Canada, where it now denotes a softer bread product baked only once."

Since we live in neither the US nor Canada... It's a cake!!!
