Godsgift: Oh no! If I'm going to risk it, then it's all or nothing! I'm a slow learner but up to lately it's beem too much nothing and very little all!
snuggs99: Would you please explain your reference to "instant idiot".
I lose all rationality and emotional self preservation. It really is like a mental illness with me. I seem to change. Hard to explain!I bocome very soft and very defenceless which can be hard if the lady involved is looking for He Man!

I'm going to let your explanation go but I don't have any idea what you're talking about. Thanks for trying.
why be afraid love is a great feeling when you want to be with them always, your mind is always on them, you hurt when they hurt and you can't wait to see or hear from them
Godsgift: Being in love is great if my memory serves me right but falling out of love can hurt very deeply. I haven't been seriously involved for a long time. So is there anyone else afraid of falling in love?
It's a fear and the most delicious one I can imagine.
Although the fear is there, there is an even bigger fear of never falling in love again.

I think the question should be 'who is'nt?' Anytime a person loses someone close to them, either by death, divorce or whatever, the physical seperation is like someething being torn off your body. Both your soul and your body are in pain and sometimes, depending on the individual and or circumstances, it can take quite a while to adjust to it.

SO VERY TRUE!! Who wants to repeat that? If you're in a new relationship, you still usually keep that fear in the back of your mind, because the pain can sometimes be unbearable.
