Grandepensees: Ah, I thought so... I have been very behaved in this thread... Laverdad would be proud of me

My apology to you GP.gift It is the other guy that needs to go into his mancave for a time out to cool off for awhile and get over his PMS moment. His comments were absolutely despicable at this time.

People around the world have politial disagreements and their view of war and whose to blame, but voicing them at the right time, right space and place is what should be in order.

This forum was definitely not the right time, space or place for what was so defiantly written to hurt the OP who has been suffering some emotional deep scars at this time. This is the point I have tried to make in my postings here.

The forum was set up by the OP as a place to garner support to help in her in emotional healing. It is only the right and respectable thing to offer that support to her at this time. Her pain is an experience that is universal to all humans...irregardless of what our ethnic backgrounds are.
Perhaps some humans have lost their sense of humaness and humanity to the next person. sad flower

Yes, I think so... But then again, when you look at history, it seems that human life has always been cheap... To bad a king's or a president's isn't THAT cheap, things migh change then...

Again, topic for another thread here. Not this one. But it is a thought to ponder at another time. I have to hand it to you GP, you have been keeping your comments low key and being rather respectful to the OP.

My personal opinion is that the OP is not arab, but that doesn't matter at all........... she is there, her friends are there, and people she knows have died a terrible avoidable death that wasn't by accident - it was by a calculated act of violence designed to kill and maim.

I pray for the lives of ALL those lost - and that includes anybody who is or was a suicide bomber who might have given his/her life in the belief that he/she was serving a noble cause worth dying for.

We have no control of our birth; some of us decide to choose the means by which we die - of those some choose to die saving the lives of others and some of us choose to die deliberately in the belief that 'the end justifies the means' - the end never justifies the means as evil cannot combat evil.

Let us all mourn together the loss of human life.

Amen.
