RayfromUSA: Just ask yourselves.

In a country that had no sectarian violence prior to being invaded. And where the occupying force conducts searches at checkpoints throughout the country.

Where do these hundreds of pounds of explosives come from?

Why would insurgents target their own people instead of the foreign occupiers?

And why wouldn't they just stop the violence so that the invaders would have no justification for their presence.

I don't believer there are any genuine "insurgents" in Iraq except those organized and directed by the US.

All of the bombs, even the ones that kill Americans, are set by the US or their paid proxies. And their sole reason is to justify the continued occupation.

Exactly..the simple answer as to who benefits; several of the Bush regime stated that the US will never leave as a policy to follow...

Here in the States, we do take a chance of being the victim of a crime but, for the most part, we are safe. We take being here so much for granted. I couldn't even imagine living in a country where you wouldn't even know if you'd wake up every morning, living in fear of being bombed on a daily basis. My heart goes out to those whose lives were lost, and their surviving family and friends.sad flower

LILLYLADY: All of the CS posters here who have totally ignored LaVerdad's request to not write anything of a political, judgemental, derogatory, insulting, degrading, hatred nature in reHow dare you CS posters here be so insensitive to LaVerdad's request regarding to not write anything of political, derogatory, judgemental, insulting, degrading, hatred nature regarding any country of origin. Shame on you and you know who you are.

LaVerdad has just lost friends whom she will never have the opportunity to see again. Have you no sensitivity for the grief she is going through right now? You have just blatantly used her grief forum for your political hate. I hope she reports you.

LaVerdad, you have my sympathy on your personal losses at this time. Friends are far and few between in our life and there is no replacing them. There is no excuse for the ignorance and lack of sensitivity of the members who abused your sincere request at this time of your loss.

totally agree with you, but it happens time after time

Shame on you Ray for daring to insult LaVerdad with your American rhetoric hate B.S. It is obvious that you have absolutely no compassion for a lady that is going through a very tough time and is in a grieving process for the loss of the lives of her friends.

This forum here is not the place to spew your hatred, considering that she made a request not to do this. So shall you reap what you sow in life when you dishonor the feelings of a person in need of sincere heartfelt emotional support.very mad

Stop your political views here. It has no place whatsoever on this forum. You are most insensitive to the grief LaVerdad is experiencing right now. This is the forum to offer her heartfelt emotional support if you are able to do that.

But if you can't find it in your heart to do that, it is better to stay silent than to make a fool out of yourself and yell at us (using all capital letters) all your political hate. You have blatantly shown disrespect for LaVerdad and her request that she clearly posted at the end of her post.very mad

RobertC2: No jokiing.

Any day is a sad day to lose friends.

Any day is a sad day to lose an enemy.

Any day is a sad day when innocent lives are lost.

Any day is a sad day to lose a father.

Any day is a sad day to lose a mother.

Any day is HORRIBLE devastating day to lose a child.

Any day is a terribly sad day to lose a lover.

Any day is a terrible day when people are happy when other people have died.

Any day when mankind loses its humanity is a day of immense sadness.

Any day that makes you feel hatred towards another is very sad.

Any day where the joy of life is snuffed out is tragic.

Any day we do not feel for those who have died makes us less human.

When I spotted Ray's post, I immediately knew he wouldn't stay silent and insult the U.S ( and LaVerdad in the process )

I hold no love for the government of the U.S ( for most government anyways ) but to come in this thread and start spouting political propaganda and conspiracy platitudes is beneath even him sigh

I haven't been online for a bit and haven't caught the news either ( yes, I have a cave somewherelaugh ) and when I saw news of the bombing, I felt ashamed at my desensitization.
This 'war' has gone on for too long and I wonder now if the people and children of Iraq will ever recover from it.

Shame on you people who dare make political points on the back of those who are dying just for being there.
And shame on everyone in the press who are doing the same.
But most of all, shame and damnation to those who have planned and carried out all those attacks in Iraq, past and present, whoever they are. Surely, your 'rewards' await you...

This is not a political forum Solitaire. It is a forum for a memorial to the loss of life. It is appropriate to respect LaVerdad's personal loss and offer her condolense. If you are not able to have compassion and sensitivity to her grief at this time, please remain silent as a show of respect for her and other CS members. It is the most appropriate at this time.sad flower
