Here in the States, we do take a chance of being the victim of a crime but, for the most part, we are safe. We take being here so much for granted. I couldn't even imagine living in a country where you wouldn't even know if you'd wake up every morning, living in fear of being bombed on a daily basis. My heart goes out to those whose lives were lost, and their surviving family and friends.

When I spotted Ray's post, I immediately knew he wouldn't stay silent and insult the U.S ( and LaVerdad in the process )
I hold no love for the government of the U.S ( for most government anyways ) but to come in this thread and start spouting political propaganda and conspiracy platitudes is beneath even him
I haven't been online for a bit and haven't caught the news either ( yes, I have a cave somewhere
) and when I saw news of the bombing, I felt ashamed at my desensitization. This 'war' has gone on for too long and I wonder now if the people and children of Iraq will ever recover from it.
Shame on you people who dare make political points on the back of those who are dying just for being there.
