In response to: Everyone wants to find the chemistry that connects two people when they first meet. My question is: what happens after that chemistry is found? Do you stop there and try to expand that relationship, or do you continue searching for others?
I found out that most of these online people do not want the chemistry after is found; it is just the thrill of finding it.
Then, it becomes a head game, trying to find out how many people they can get. Meanwhile, they are hurting others with this game, not having any concern about the person they just met. In addition, when they find themselves too deep into some sort of unwanted relationship, and they decide that is time to break it up, their excuse would be something like this: “I was seeing someone while back and now he/she wants to renew our relationship again, and I decided to give it another try.”
Have you experienced something like this? How easy it is to break someone's heart!
I remember when a guy dumped me because I had diabetes....laugh He said his life would be too hard.laugh I just left him alone. He e-mails me now asking am I sure I want to get married.laugh

If there's chemistry between me and a guy I meet, of course I stop there and try to expand the relationship. What would be the point in searching for others? If it works, fabulous. If not...back to the drawing board. dunno

I really don't what chemistry is between us, but I know I need it and I know when it is there or not there. I need the chemistry to produce that spark when I see you the first time.

serene56: soooo true. I think it pays not to chat for too long as a bond can be formed and expectations can then be too high when a date finally eventuates

There is nothing easy about internet dating actually it must be more complicated than the real world.....and yes we live in a disposable world....nobody tries to hard anymore to make anything work....internet dating has huge downsides too....I think I prefer the old fashioned way....when I was much younger you just went out and met someone....nothing complicated about that.....conversing

Principle -- particularly moral principle -- can never be a
weathervane, spinning around this way and that with the
shifting winds of expediency. Moral principle is a compass
forever fixed and forever true.

-- Edward R. Lyman

Everything has the potential to draw forth from me a fuller
love and life. Yet my desires are often fixed, caught, on
illusions of fulfillment. I ask that God, through my freedom,
may orchestrate my desires in a vibrant loving melody rich
in harmony.

HJFinAZ: Seems I remember standing at a place in Sedona a few short years ago.

What was that spark??

Just a thought ya know.........

I remember that too...It's unfortunate that things didn't work out. It was a lot more than a spark and you know it.

HJFinAZ: How the hell did I "STILL" end up with both of you?

RLML48: Sometimes, they sound too good to be true, and that's exactly what it is.

And if they sound too good to be true, they probably aren't real. So far, that's been my online experience...which is why now I'm dating someone I was introduced to by friends who thought we'd make a great match...and we do. wine
