MrAngel: Seeing you with an experienced eye, I don't think you'll have to be very concerned about too much competition since you appear to be a Real Doll.
I was thinking the same thing, actually, she's more competition for me than I am for her. No worries, AngelDoll!
LadyPhoenix1965: Thanks, Dru! I've met some really 'cool' women on here that I think I would get along well with. Too bad we couldn't all get together and really have a drink.
Actually, you're not that far from me...Cleveland to Pittsburgh isn't so far away we couldn't make a day trip of it.
Call me shallow, nothing turns my head more than a beautiful looking women. Beauty is to be admired no matter what form it comes in, a beautiful painting, an amazing sunset, a brilliant piece of engineering, you get my dift.

I agree , beauty in anything should be admired , including a beautiful soul !
lady phoenix....as a nurse...we get direct admissions from other emergency room....guess what...when we get report from the paramedic...their eyes are giving patient report on the nurses mammary glands....thats mens sense of vision i guess...i got complaints from my nurse assistant with these all the time...
men are also touchy...
as a recovery room /post anesthesia nurse, when a patient comes to us after surgery, the male patients hands either adolescent/child/adult are usually stationed on their front private part...
friends4now: Yes I have had kids and my body shows that but I still work out and watch what I eatbut men are visual that's why no matter how much they love you they WILL look at other women. Perfect example my gramps is 85 my grandparents have been married 60 years-that man will run into a ditch watching a young 20 something jogging down the street
And my grandpa left my last grandma pregnant when he died at the age of 81 .

Can you see beauty in a beautiful male body? Just curious since you didn't list it.
LadyPhoenix1965: Looking for some honest responses please.
I've read more than a few books on how to relate better to men. One factor that keeps coming up is that they are 'visual'. In many profiles I read that men want a woman that 'takes good care of herself'. Now *I* take that to mean that they want someone young, thin, and gorgeous, and I tend to move on to the next profile cause, hey, I'm 44 and wearing the body of a woman that's had 3 kids. Am I wrong???
Also, if men are so visual, what makes them walk into a room full of people, with a date on their arm, and not simply seek out the 'next best thing', so to speak? What makes them stay with that woman?

I think that's probably an unconscious protective gest. The hospital environment is pretty threatening, especially without any clothes to protect one's jewels. The hand gives a bit of reassurance.
MrAngel: Anyone can become bitter if they allow themselves to be. We all know that. I don't believe I ever said that ONLY women can become bitter. But I honestly think that there are more bitter women than men, especially older women, simply because of what I call the Butterfly Factor. But I won't bore you with the details of that.
Shewolf55: Thank you...I'm glad to give a little sisterly attention when Healthy isn't there. She'll love to hear that you missed her.
