tennesseejudy: I wonder what triggers certain dreams. They seem to just come out of the blue.
Ok, I'll play...
The most logical explanation I've come across for dreams is that they are the conscious mind attempting to bring about order. Whatever issues you've been dealing with during the day that you were unable to solve, the mind attempts to make sense of them while you're asleep.
The dreams we remember are the ones that are occurring just before we wake.
everyone dreams every time they sleep unless you have a mind that is free of conflict and maintains perfect order throughout the day...or have an awareness of your conscious mind as the tool that it is and not mistake your thoughts for reality.

Depends whats on your mind some may come from what is happening right now for the person, or could be something thats been hanging around them just not so much there on their mind all the time... Just a thought about it..

I read this this morning.
To dream that you are with an ex or something that is not your current mate, denotes your reservations about embarking in a new relationship or situation.

Yes as I said...so in your example your issue with an ex is not resolved...so your mind attempts to resolve it while you sleep. Hence you dream about the ex....the rest of that quote is purely subjective speculation...it may or may not be about reservations about the future or present as much as putting to rest the issue of the past that you're clinging to as it hasn't been resolved yet.

If they were about me and good, it means we are meant to be together. Otherwise, they were just dreams.
My mind comes up with some very weird things in my dreams. It is hard for me to understand where it comes from and what possibly it could mean. Many of the plots don't ever seem to be connected.

And if one carries around such baggage (and many do), one would only have 2 chances of a future. Those 2 chances are slim & none.
I cannot remember the last time I had a dream & remembered it..
