conjor: There is proof of that he was here in the writings that you seem to place so much value in both books;Other wise you would not have a debate. You use the words of a history book to discount them;yet you do not acknowledge the books as being actuall history. So then what is true, and false? If i use a document to prove something when i do not regard the document to be valid? Then that would make me a total idiot. This may be over your head;I do not know? How or why would you use a book that you say is not history to discount some one who wrote in the book.Or whoever wrote the book? If the document is not valid then you have no evidence.

history has to be backed by historical proven figures or it becomes nothing more then mythology? confused

I’m not going to sit back and debate Gilligan’s Island!

I mean Mohamed’s Island laugh

Either you have something or you don’t? dunno

Did Muhammad know God? Absolutely! As a matter of fact....they were on a first name basis. Why, I could tell you many tales of the many times that they have hungout together. For example, there was this one time when this girl plotted her own murder. She tried to play some hijinks with a doctor and an undertaker to defraud an insurance company. In a scam, sometime after naming her physician as her benefactor, she took a dose of lethal drugs (of which the doctor were to declare her dead and then after being rushed out by the undertaker, the doctor would give her an injection to restore her to life). Not wishing to share the profits threeways, the doctor failed to revive his co-conspirator. Well, Muhammad was the first to remark to God (or was it God to Muhammad? I never could keep these two straight), "Now, that just ain't right." And God, or Muhammad, replied "No, it ain't."

conjor: Men wrote books, and men read books; But who knows this God? The name you keep trowing around?Men kill men! Is it in the name of your Gods?Or the name of your prophets?

Men write and reads books God is greator than all of ,his dignity doesnt allow him to come on the earth and show that i am God,he is owner of every thing in the universe,
He sent his messangers to us to tell us the right way
they told us and unfortunatly many of us are blind they cannot see the greatness of God,thier brains are locked or occupied by evil so they are refusing the God.

No ,Muhmmad(p.b.u.h)is a true prophet he brought the messages of God for us and told us that how to spend a perfect life
I know why u r saying that becoz u didnt read the Nobel Quran
You dont know any thing about it.

Iam not sure, the op mentioned he read lots of books, was the Holy Quran included? dunno

As we know there are more than sixty thousand books written against islam, if someone who wants to know about islam get in touch with one of them, will sure be misguided about the real truth about islam.

i do agree the Quran is the main source. but for a bigginer or someone who is just curious, would just go to the library, pick a book that says, "learn about islam" not knowing if it consist the right message or not.

lack of proof is not proof within it self...just because a couple of men wrote a book way back when doesnt mean its true...do u actually believe everything u read in books?

Its not possible for an illitrate man to write the whole Quran with some scientific contents in its, which is impossible to be known to a person who live in a desert 1400 years back without the mordern technology.

whaaat: U call it a couple of books, but have u read and try to understand whats written in the books. What u quoted there is from the bible. God did warn them to stay away from the tree, but they didn't obey and that was the result.

Yes God gave us freedom of choice, but also sent us the books telling us how to live our lives, warned us. what is good and what is bad. its the road u chose to follow.

right....but he gave us the freedom of choice....not the freedom to do what i tell u to do.....not the freedom to do as i say, not as i do....THE FREEDOM OF CHOICE....and why would "god" have to punish us? he has already stated,"Believe in me, and you shall be granted eternal life" or some crock o' crap to that effect...and for those who dont believe in him, shall be cast into the fires of hell(this goes for the "sinners" as well)...why would he need to further punish us, if he had already made up 2 seperate places for the deserving people of each place to go to?

It is not in the name of God or any prophet. People may at times use those things to excuse thier evil intent.
