Weimarlady: And regarding what you said above about "new" music... LOL, I remember about 10 years ago my best friend and I were on a long road trip (to a dog show a couple of countries away - other side of Poland, close to the German border), and we had 2 daughters of a friend of ours in the back seat (some 8 years younger than us, so they were like 14 y.o. at the time). So we're driving at night and decide to show the girls what "real" music is all about. As usual, my friend was driving and I was the DJ, so this was one of the songs I put on (one of our favourites!). Half-way through the song I decide to look at the back seat over my shoulder to see how our passengers are enjoying our selection, only to realize that they both have their little MP3 or whatever players with earphones on, listening to something like Britney's "Oops I Did It Again"!! So our best intentions to introduce them to music "proper" apparently failed....
Bratislava? I took my dogs to Prague and Bratislava dog shows a couple of times too. It is an awesome trip ... but with no children
Anyway ... I wondering whose fault it is that new generation finds Britney and Lady Gaga kinds, the top of a Music?
