..did you manage to get water to drink..water to wash...water to flush sewerage away and the heating sorted ..I feel guilty running the bath now whilst sweating in the heat from the central heating and simply flushing the toilet as i like the colour of the new blue toilet cleaner 
..Do keep us updated though as it is quite a serious problem ..hope things improve
