)Oh God 1 - 5* hotel is a lil outa my range! And 2 - P in bucket - it has not come to that, nor will it! I live alone so its not bad - now if i had a house full of kids, that would be a different story.

Its beautiful here today; we had a heavy snowfall during the night, but its easing now, and the scene is like a Christmas Card..
36.5F, so very mild now..
The infrastructure here is very well developed to deal with the snow as they have so much of it. None of the main roads are EVER blocked really, and the snow ploughs come out every day as a matter of course..
We do have to keep the doors of the bathroom under sink cupboard open though, in case the pipes freeze..

Unlike here were everything comes to a standstill after a few inches of snow
Ah well thankfully it is the holidays and alot of people dont have to get anywhere.

Well if you have heat, electricity, food and running water count yourself lucky me thinks, I would be bored too only for I had no electricity 1 day which meant no heat, then out of water for 9 days so lock me in for a week now I'm happy!
I live in Alberta, we ALWAYS have bad weather.
Only -22 right now, not as bad as the -46 a couple weeks ago.

Yep, it was always frustrating when a little snow fell and the country came to a stop..
Guess its because we were never used to that much there..Here, its a long, cold winter and they have to be well prepared to keep everything running..
