Just curious... And why do they call us male nurses I know I am male, anyone looking can see I am male. Hes a male nurse. Doesnt he say it all? Kinda like tuna fish I guess.

Bryan4U,don't know what area of nursing your in,but if you work a hospital floor with mostly medical,many senior patiants,then boy I bet we could swap stories!!
I worked a surg. floor days then a medical floor(called by employees the nursing home) 3rd shift then ccu stepdown nights. Only worked there 15 yrs.,back injury and out for me.
Male nurses are still somewhat of a new actuallity. I am sure in another 12-15 yrs. it will just be nurse.
to you for doing what you do,whatever area you work in. Not everyone can do the job. Takes patience and ability to leave the job at the door when you go home.
for working a demanding job.

There is something about a male nurse...he has'nt gotten over it in 16 yrs...if God forbid I ended up in the hospital at least having a hottie nurse would make thing less PAINFUL
