Losty: Half Two sees the first game of the 2010 Six Nations; Ireland at home to Italy, England at home to Wales at 5 and a Sunday afternoon fixture for Scotland and France in Murrayfield.

Ireland will be too strong for Italy so I'm going for a 41 13 score line, Wales to edge out England 20 18 with a last minute kick deciding it and France to hockey Scotland 39 12.

Any other guesses, closet to right wins a kiss from me and Lumpy

The handicap betting for the Ireland match is -21 @ 10/11 for Ireland..
I would rather be on Italy +21 as the first couplke of games every year they are very dogged, plus Ireland havent played in a while and might take a while to get into the game..
My prediction is 26 - 9 for Ireland..

I think England could be the surprise package this year so i am going for an England win..
Also dont think France will hockey Scotland at Murrayfield, they sometimes can be extremely hard to beat at home.
Im going for France to win by 8-10 points.

Ireland to win by 15 +

France to win by 18 +

I think the Welsh / English game will be so important as whoever wins could win the Championship and winning on Sat will do their confidence the world of good.
I take Wales to win a close match.

It will be interesting to see how we do in the scrum andif we have improved after the autumn internationals, Italy are a tough physical side and will put it up to us for the first half but we will win. 28 9
i dont think England and Wales will be as close a game as people think,, wales to win by at least ten points 24 12. france to to beat scotland comfortably 34 16

Our pack isn't the problem, it's our tight three that's at fault. That said, your right; the Italians will be a test in the loose ball but not enough to worry us too much especially given their weakness in the 5 8's.

I am not a Rugby fan. I consider it a middle class sport for middle class people. It is not made accessable to working class people by the IRFU as far as I can see?dunno
But different strokes and all. As the joke in working class areas goes. " Everyone knows where they were when Ireland won the Grand Slam in 2009....I was in Tesco and it was 3 weeks later." rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

I cant see Ireland winning it this year , i stand by what i said at the beginning.
England at Twickenham will be a tough game.
And cant see Ireland leaving Paris with a win with the abysmal performance put in yesterday.
Lets see how France play today first
