The do it because they are spiritually unevolved, and don't yet realize that YOU GET WHAT YOU PUT YOUR ATTENTION ON.

Think you're fat and ugly?

Guess what ... you're right!

Any thread and any topic is good. It doesn't matter what it is about. This world is big enough for anyone and to think about any subject. The more broad the subjects the more interesting they are.....

That is taken for granted... but what if I really think she is too fat or he is too old... can i say that and come up with a different thing like... "well, you are old, or you are fat... just go with it"

I am sure the self-pity seekers are never expecting to get such replies.... I would be seen as "inhumane"

And I am not banning them (I can´t) I do not certainly take part in the pity giving.

In a recent insecurity thred about chubyness I reply as:
"Some overweight girls are so lovely and chewy. You can date 1000000 times for sure... so forget about that..."

Well, I am sure the initiator disliked my answer...cool frustrated There was something wrong with that? Just that I did not say "Oh, you look skinny, don´t pay attention to those that are jealous of your looks"laugh

Blues63: Who knows what personal hell some people are going through when they post such things. Who are we to judge? A decent person listens and offers sympathy, empathy and advice. If they still have something to learn about life according to an another individuals personal philosophy, well, they will in time, or they won't. It's not up to us to castigate, lecture or judge. This is, after all a site to bring people together. We all have something to learn from others and our arrogance will only hinder this.

This is only my opinion and opinions are like grains of sand: multitudinous and worthless.

No, I didn't dislike your answer, it was just not an intelligent response. I did not ask you for your opinion on my weight or if I was overweight, it was a general question of what people consider overweight. If you read my post, I said I didn't think I was fat. It was a simple question but instead of answering like a mature adult, you made an insensitive joke. How do you think a comment like that affects those that really are overweight? Maybe you should think before you write stupid comments like that. professor
