Kittens can be a lot of fun and pleasure. Enjoy them until they can be given away. Here I give kittens away by putting up a sign and in a day or two they are gone. if they are too big to be kitten and are not cats yets (cattens ) then many farm people keep them to keep down mice and rats....giving them a home. Never kill them and don't dump them. Teach them to feed themselves and let them go at least.
Kittens shouldn't leave their mum until they are AT LEAST 8 weeks old so you have plenty of time to post adverts, take some pix, put a notice up in the vet's waiting room, local bar, bakery, etc.
You should easily find homes for them. Then, on the day you give the last kitten away, GET YOUR CAT STERILISED. She will probably already be pregnant with the next litter, so you'll have to be tough and tell the vet that you want any pregnancy terminated. Ask about paying in stages if you're broke.
By the way, responsible pet ownership means YOU let your cat have four kittens. She doesn't know how it happened. YOU do, and as her owner YOU should have prevented it by having her sterilised before this.
Lecture now over. I shall go hide in a corner and shut the frig up.

Valentines night...It's my first dealing with any of this.....and in about four weeks I have to think of a way to off load these kitten's any advice...An acquaintance suggested wring their necks as they are born.. We were always getting cats and kittens dumped off at our place when I was growing up as people assumed we were a farm.
My dad got very creative about marketing them. "FARM RAISED MEAT CATS" got the biggest reaction and a few calls to the local police (Police are all friends of the family).
One thing he always did was charge a token amount for each kitten to cover the cost of care. That way if anyone thought about returning the kitten it they would hesitate because it would seem like they only wanted their $10 back.
There was one that we did keep "Katt" who's name I stole for my identity.
Don't blame me. Dad gave her that name saying the spelling was so there would be no confusion at the post office with other cat's mail.

omg!!!!..hilarious@wring their necks but so evil ....simple just find them homes...not hard at all so many animal lovers out there
imsophie1: Hey Thumper! I'm like that too. I once had 13 solid black cats.
I've got three that are pure white. Two with blue eyes and one with one blue and one yellow eye. I think some of these kittens may be pure white too. When they get a little older I'll be able to tell better. This cat thing all started when I had rats in my barn. I got the Momma Kitty, she had kittens, and now I have several generations. But I dont have rats any more. Cats are better than rats any day.
Read this!!! I knew an older lady who was hung with kittens she couldn't keep. She put them in a big, empty purse and set the purse in the mall. Then she sat away from the purse and watched. She said that people came up and stole the kittens one by one. You should look into having your cat fixed if she goes outside. I heard that some pet supply stores put pets up for adoption. My sister got some cats from petco.
