ReikiAngel: Yes, I'm sure CS will still be here. If it does go sideways, so what? I will have gained so many happy hours and memories. People are too inclined to fear of the new, because they want guarantees. Life and love offer no guarantees, and don't come with a users manual, but negativity shouldn't stop us from being happy. So, I CHOOSE to be happy.
Personally, I choose to be here because I still have good friends here, post in the forums and blog. Not that I need to explain myself to you or anyone else.

as for being happy... who says im not??? it just so happens that my definition of happy has more to do with freedom from the clutches of the Evil Empire, than with the undying need to be chained up to someone for the rest of my life, based on whatever standard set by society that we "need" another person in order to BE happy!!!!

ReikiAngel: LOL I didn't feel I was being attacked at all. I'm mature and smart enough to know the difference. I was also not being defensive, since I will be the first to admit that I take love and relationships seriusly. As I stated in an earlier post, we are taking things slow and seeing where this goes. I don't think I ever mentioned marriage or "forever after".

As for "being chained up to someone for the rest of my life", if that's how you feel about love and relationships, I can only wish you luck and happiness. Love and commitment are not shackles. IMHO they enhance who we are, and what we can experience. Some things are just better shared.

Every person has a right to their opinions and feelings. So, I will agree to disagree with you.
