Blues63: People respond to various posts based on their own perspective moulded by their own individual collection of experiences. Some truly make my eyes pop (yes, Robert, moreso than usual). But I feel that generalisations are bandied about recklessly and they can be quite harmful. Just because in X's past, Y behaved in a similar fashion doesn't necessarily mean that Q is of a similar personality. If that makes any sense. Always hated Algebra.

On the other hand each and everyone has a right to be heard, even if the voice is saying something we may not like to hear. Yet, those who spoke against such beliefs were turned on by others, in a sense it was equal on both sides of the discussion.
Not all women like sentiments such as those professed, I would have to included myself in that. I feel it is more of a personal issue than something that can be used as a blanket to conver all. I left the rose tinted glasses at the door of CS through expereince,and I even left some of my cynism behind with them. There are more like me in here
And some have exspressed themselves rightly so

yes we read stuff and make up our minds instantly..but what if the guy is actually being genuine..have we become so jaded we dimiss real sentiment without a second glance?..or are we just protecting ourselves..either way, if this is the case maybe we are the ultimate losers?....should we not be a little more open in listening to what people have to say?
