tipaly81: She's in her 40's. She was born in 1960.
Most people like listening to music from the years they were a teenager and early adult. Think about loading music from the 70's and 80's. Many "oldies" CDs are available. They are great to listen to while working out at the gym or riding your bike.
tipaly81: I played Flute. I was okay, but not something I truely loved doing. I actually developed some back and shoulder problems from playing and studying so much.
I turned out to be more of a book worm. Something she is very cool with and proud of.
well ur kind to give her this player with music. my son just gave me a new cd today! If ur mom liked the beatles, she'd likely love weezer. also remember, it's easy enuff to change up the music she doesn't like. She might be pleased to learn some new bands?

Thankyou kindly.
I try my best to introduce her to new stuff. She loves it. We go back an forth that way, because there are some groups that she just loves that i never heard of until she pulled them out recently.
They weren't really for me, but I could see why she loved them so much.

felixis99: jeepers, primus is ok, but really - marilyn manson for a MOM! you are such a......a......a......GUY
I like Marilyn Manson, but I know my mom would not. I edit my music selections around her where i know there are groups or topics that would just put her off.
