Do you want a bet? Miss 14 just tried to melt her chocolate Easter bunny in the microwave with the foil still on?

Bloody blondes!

At this rate it is going to take years to get her to think first? (now what would dad do!)

That's sweet you guy's have a notebook system! I might use that myself when my bub get's older...be a good one to read back on...laugh sound's like your doing a great job dad!!wine
Blizzard14u: We have a note book system, I used to ask if she could do the washing or hanging at one time, while I was off to work, I always end each note with I love you xx,
She always did what ever and adds I love you too xx, I don’t have to ask now but we still use the note book just to say have a nice day, and that I love you xx,
It is amazing what kids will write on a note pad where they wont ask when you are there? Yes we still have those difficult parent child moments? But most of all I keep composed and treat her as a person rather than a child, but she is only a child in age really? She has the manors of an adult and has spoken openly to most people since she was 9, yes I am a very proud dad, that loves his daughter no mater what she brings home?

I have two daughters who stay with me twice a week. They are only 8 & 11, but I feel like the eldest one is already acting like a teenager!

I always hear my self saying what have you done for me latley!

I love them to bits and so I can only say that you keep the line of communication going. Let them know that they can talk to you about things to build trust. If you loose the trust then they may keep a lot of things to themselves...

I have of Brother who has teenager daughters and they ground them and deny them privilages because they made mistakes themselves as teenagers.

I worry about those girls as I have seen so many do things behind their parents backs which sometimes can land them in more trouble than they can handle....roll eyes

My little girl made me breakfast in bed yesterday morning,

I think I could be doing something wrong? Aren’t teenagers supposed to hate their parents?

No her mum that lives just down the road is the taxi, I tolled her on Wednesday that she had to buy her own credit for her phone from now on, and on Thursday she said she had $120 in the bank? So she wont be asking for money until at least this Friday?
